Christmas Movie Marathon

Join us at the Movie Theater Saturday night 12/17 at 7pm for a Christmas Movie Marathon!
We will show Rudolph, Frosty, Elf & Christmas Vacation!

We will serve popcorn, but bring your own beverage or other snacks to enjoy.

We will also have some vendors selling last-minute stocking stuffers--all under $15.

This Weekend's Events

Happy November Everyone! Can you believe Thanksgiving is just one week away?

We wanted to remind you about the events we have going on for the rest of this month--all happening in the next few days!

1) Wine Tasting TONIGHT from 6-8pm in the office. Vidalco Distributors will be here, showcasing their holiday wines. We'll have some snacks to compliment their wines. You'll also have the option to purchase wines at an incredible discount (great holiday gift idea!).
2) Oyster Roast on Sunday from 5-8pm! Lowcountry Oyster Boys will be putting on a great oyster roast for us. We'll also have burgers and chili for those of us who prefer to have options. :) We'll provide sodas, otherwise, BYOB. This event will be in the pool area, and please remember to not bring pets out of respect for all neighbors.
3) We are still collecting non-perishable food items! Bring your donations to the office by 11/30. The food will be distributed at the Convoy of Hope in downtown Charleston.

TODAY 2-4pm on the field next to the officeJoin us!

Also, tomorrow night, we will do Reverse Trick or Treating from 6-8pm.
This means the Cares Team and friends will come to your apartment and bring you treats. You get extra treats if you answer the door. If you're not home, we will leave you a bag of treats on the door.

Update: Giveaway! Extended to Friday 8/26

We recently had All is Well come to our Love Your Pet event and give us lots of goodies to give away to our residents.

We had a goodie basket that was raffled away. Raffle tickets were just 50 cents! Jackie won the raffle basket which included lots of food, treats, and toys for her dog, Nugget. The $25 raised from the raffle was donated to Pethelpers.
We still have some gift certificates from All is Well that we'd like to give away!

Love Your Pet Event!

Got a 4-legged roommate here at Bolton's Landing? We have lots of furry family members who live here, so we're having a "Love Your Pet" event this Saturday from 4-6 pm by the dog park.

We are having vendors like All Is Well and Petsmart come out to show us some of their available products and services. They will have goodie bags and treats to give away.

We will also have free nail trimmings and a trainer available for questions and demonstrations.

Some of our vendors are bringing items for sale as well, and we will be having a raffle for products from All is Well. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Pet Helpers, a local animal shelter. So bring some cash. But all purchases are optional.

We are so excited about this event and the vendors from our community coming out to support all of the Bolton's Landing residents!

We look forward to seeing you (and your pets) Saturday from 4-6 pm!

July 4th Picnic at the Pool!

Wine Tasting!

Join us tomorrow (Thursday) eventing from 6-8 in the clubhouse
for a Wine 101 Tasting Event.

Vidalco will be bringing a variety of their wines and doing a tasting with us.

We will have a cheese tray and light finger foods to complement the wine.

Showcased wines will be available for purchase. Vidalco accepts cash, check, or credit cards. Your orders will be available to pick up at the clubhouse on Friday.

Run for the Nine 6/11

2011 Run For The Nine - Memorial 5K

Date: Saturday, June 11, 2011

Time: 7:00am-1:00pm, Gates open at 7:00am, Run begins at 8:00am.

Location: Joe Riley Stadium, 360 Fishburne Street, Charleston, SC

Details: Local 61, with help from the Charleston River Dogs, is hosting the 2011 Run For The Nine - Memorial 5K. The run will begin in front of Joe Riley Stadium and work it's way to Hampton Park, through some of the local neighborhoods, circle Hampton Park and retrace itself back to Joe Riley Stadium. A map of the actual route, as well as more in depth information on the event itself is available to view at www.local61.com.
All proceeds from this event go towards the construction of the Charleston 9 Memorial being built at the site of the Sofa Super Store Fire.

Do You Know Hunter?

Hunter the dog has lived at Bolton's Landing for about a year now.

Hunter's owner, Sandra, says he is always full of energy and ready to play!

His happy places are Kiawah Island and James Island County Park where he can run free!

He loves swimming and having other dogs chase him.
No one is a stranger to hunter, he loves everyone! :)

His favorite treats are raw hides with peanut butter flavor, but he will eat anything!

Of course, he also loves getting his belly rubbed! :)

If you see Hunter around the community, be sure to tell him hey!

Spring Fling! Recap

Here's what you missed at the Spring Fling yesterday! About 85 neighbors and friends joined us for pictures with the Easter Bunny, the Egg Hunt, Bounce House and snacks. By far, this was our biggest turn out and probably our funnest event!

Hopefully a lot of our new friends from this event will come to our other events too. (A hint for an upcoming event in May ~ Luau!)

Spring Fling!

We are really excited about the Spring Fling on Saturday!
As you can see in the picture above
(and on the postcard you should have gotten on your door),
it is from 10 am - Noon.

We will have snacks for everyone!
We will have Bounce House for the Kids!
(Children will need to be accompanied by adult.)
Pictures with the Easter Bunny!
Egg Hunt for the Kids, Ages 12 and Under.
Bring your own Basket.
The egg hunt will start at 10:30 am.
There will also be Door Prizes for adults.
Drawings will be at Noon at the snack area.
You do not have to be present to collect your prize.
